Academic Courses

Courses will be highly individualized programs consisting of sixteen (16) sixty (60) minute class meetings

• Summer Term offers small, high individualized interactive classes as in-person programs.
• Programs will begin on Monday, July 1 and end on Thursday, July 25.

• All students must be present and arrive in a timely fashion to their designated classroom.

• Dress code should be presentable and within CCHS dress down guidelines with respect to what is appropriate for class. Hats, hoods, sunglasses, and revealing or inappropriate clothing that references sex, 不允许使用毒品或酒精.
• Eating/drinking while participating in class is not acceptable. This is distracting and inconsiderate of your teacher and classmates. Students who eat during a session may be removed from the class and progressive discipline will be enforced.
• These may include suspension of remote learning and loss of program fees.
• Note: Students who consistently ignore the above may forfeit learning access and all paid program fees.

Central Catholic Summer Term offers students the opportunity to attend courses during summer vacation: We realize that our schedule of courses might conflict with previous arrangements and family commitments. 考虑到这些情况, Central Catholic Summer Term permits students to be absent under the following conditions:

• All anticipated absences beyond one day must be approved by the director of Summer Term prior to the beginning of Summer Term.
• Students agree to make up all missed work and at least a portion of all missed class time. In most situations, students will make up all missed class time by arriving early or staying later.
• Students will be in direct contact with instructors via email as needed to fulfill these requirements.
• The Summer Term Office must receive in writing a letter from a parent or guardian with the dates of such absences no later than 1:00 pm on June 27.
• Extended absences not approved will result in loss of class credit, 没收所有费用, 退出这个项目.
• All unanticipated absences must be accompanied by a phone call to the school by a parent or guardian no later than 8:00 AM on the day of the absence.

If a student is sick and cannot attend class or has to miss class for some reason, CCHS requires that a parent or guardian call the school to report a student absence:

Refunds: Students receive 50% of the registration fee if a student withdraws from the Summer Term program before July 3. No refunds will be issued for any student after July 3.
